With an academic background in Sociology, Justin Lorentzen is currently an Associate Lecturer in Cultural Studies at The London College of Fashion, and an Associate Tutor in Psychodynamic Studies at Goldsmiths College, University of London, where he was one of the original team who founded the successful MA program in Psychoanalytic Studies. His varied palette of expertise allows him to teach a range of courses in such subject areas as Popular Culture, Cultural Studies and the Sociology of Psychoanalysis. Since 1998, he has specialized in the field of international education, working closely with study abroad programs from the United States and teaching courses that contextualize the processes of inter-cultural communication between the US and Europe. He is currently engaged in researching London Counter Cultures of the 1960s.
