Jake is from a small town called Christchurch (no, not in New Zealand), but on the south coast of England, in Dorset. He moved to London in 2014 and settled in Kentish Town with his dogs, cats, chickens, and fish (he is a huge animal lover)! He has worked with international students for 8 years and loves how it gives insight into so many different countries and cultures.
Before moving to London, Jake studied Journalism in Bristol, and then transferred to the Open University to study towards an Open Degree after moving to Brighton. He soon hopes to start working on a master's in Law to improve his skills and knowledge, particularly in relation to immigration law.
Between work and caring for so many animals, he also likes to go swimming, go to the gym, or find new corners and restaurants of London to enjoy. His current recommendation for everyone to try is Flatiron Steakhouse – delicious and well priced!
